The Mining world
The Mining world is for gathering. Dig, blast and strip it as much as you like: it’s wiped and regenerated every week.
- Get there: the west arch in the lobby, or
/mining. - Difficulty: Normal.
- Size: 4,000 blocks across, with a world border.
- No claims, no homes. It’s shared ground.
Getting around
Section titled “Getting around”- The hub: you arrive on a floating hub with the arches. A random-teleport pad there drops you somewhere in the world.
/rtp: random teleport anywhere in the Mining world (only works while you’re in it). 10-minute cooldown.- If you logged out in the Mining world and it reset, you’ll be put safely on the hub if your old spot is now inside stone or lava.
Its own Nether and End
Section titled “Its own Nether and End”- Nether portals in the Mining world lead to the Mining Nether, separate from Survival’s. Coming back takes you to the Mining world.
- End portals open into the Mining End, with its own dragon, fresh every week.
- Dying in the Mining Nether or End sends you to your bed, your respawn anchor, or the Mining hub.
- Fortresses, bastions and End cities are all new after each reset.
The meteor shower
Section titled “The meteor shower”Every Saturday from 8 PM to 9 PM Eastern, meteors fall on the Mining world. Every 3 to 5 minutes one lands 40 to 80 blocks from a random player (never within 100 blocks of the hub), leaving a small crater with a cluster of ore and a meteor core (an amethyst block; any pickaxe breaks it).
- Breaking a core pays 25 to 75 Stardust and 50 season XP, up to 500 Stardust per player per shower.
- One meteor each shower also holds a Rare key.
- Meteors only hurt mobs, never players.
/events shows when the next shower is. See also Events.
What counts here
Section titled “What counts here”Play time, quests, the Hunting Log and the season track all count in the Mining world and its Nether and End.
